ALL NATURAL, UNIQUE FLAVORS

Boulder Ice Cream is an all natural, super-premium ice cream made at the base of the Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado. We use only REAL FOOD to flavor our gourmet ice cream! We are known for our creative selection of flavors such as our best-selling Island Coconut, Cinnamon, Mexican Chocolate, Green Tea and Famous Sweet Cream flavors.


OLD FASHIONED, HOMEMADE STYLE

We do not use industrial in-line freezers to make our ice cream. Our freezing method utilizes a slow churn processrotation, slower freeze process that does not whip a lot of air into the ice cream. So the result is a creamier, richer and smoother ice cream - just like homemade! For you technical folks, our butterfat is 16% to 18% and our air content averages 25%.


RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING

Boulder Ice Cream makes every effort to promote environmental recycling and minimize environmental impact from our distribution and manufacturing practices. In the plant, we recycle our cardboard, office paper, plastics and glass that our raw ingredients are contained in. A drive by our facility will reveal that we recycle 2 times the amount we put in landfills. Boulder Ice Cream also re-uses the pint case boxes we ship our ice cream in. When our local drivers take orders into stores, they bring the empty cases back to the plant to be used again!

Did you know that a scoop or Strawberry ice cream on top of a bowl of cereal gives you a meal that includes all 4 of the major food groups? Its true! Just read the nutritional label....

But seriously, although we all know that ice cream is high in fat and sugar, be comforted in the fact that our richer recipes will satisfy you in less spoonfulls. And some flavors are actually loaded with vitamin C and iron! And be comforted in knowing that even though we taste better than the other two "big boys" on the shelf, we have slightly less fat, cholesterol, sugar and total carbs per serving!
