We currently have an opening for an ice cream maker!
ICE CREAM MAKERS
We need lots of ice cream makers. You need to be strong (the mix buckets
weigh about 30 pounds) and know how to measure ingredients. You also
must love your work, because that is what will make the ice cream taste
really good. It is all about attitude, you know.
DISTRIBUTION
Once we have made a bunch of ice cream, we have to get it to the stores.
We have a big refrigerated truck that goes to the grocery stores to
do this. This is early morning work, and not being a morning person
myself, I let someone else do it. Besides, I can't drive yet anyway.
But whoever does this job needs to have experience driving big trucks
and also have a good driving record.
FESTIVAL / EVENT / DEMO HELP
We need people to scoop ice cream at special events that we do. This
can be really fun because most of the time you are giving away ice cream
for free and everybody becomes your friend. Sometimes we will drive
our truck to a parking lot, open the doors and yell "free ice cream".
I told my dad this was the best way to get people to taste our ice cream
and make friends too - I tell him that a person can never have too many
playmates!
SALES & MARKETING
Boulder Ice Cream is looking for an outgoing and personable in house
sales associate to help us expand our brand nationwide. Primary responsibilities
for this position are: (1) Telemarketing to grocery stores - contacting
grocery buyers via phone, follow up with emails and fax, data-entry,
acting as liaison to grocery store buyers via phone and fax for existing
accounts, (2) Researching internet and magazine to source new market
opportunities and cold calling to new accounts (3) shipping sample product
and marketing packets (4) general office administration, filing and
reception. Most of the job revolves around phone calls to grocery accounts
to check in with buyers and product status, winning their loyalty to
support Boulder Ice Cream. We are looking for a person with a charismatic
phone personality as well as the skills to work independently. Additionally,
the person must have strong organizational skills in order to track
phone calls and timely follow-up. Position is full time, $10.00 - $12.00
